I have been impatiently waiting to get this album back from the printers as it is the first one from my new supplier in Sydney. Have to say that I am more than pleased! Thanks guys. I’m sure the couple that feature in it will be equally as happy to welcome the album to their home.

There are a lot more albums to build over the next month and I will be most likely posting them as they are all different in some way. This album is white leather in grand landscape with matte ultra white 216gsm pages.

Sunrise Engagement Shoot with Paul & Nerida (Jones Bay Wharf)

I am always hesitant to suggest a sunrise shoot to anyone, but honestly, it’s the best light! So when Paul casually mentioned how nice the morning light is near their home in Pyrmont, I didn’t wait for a 2nd invitation. I locked them in for a sunrise shoot before they could change their minds! As you can see, the sunrise didn’t disappoint and neither did they – a beautiful couple, so obviously in love with life and each other. Looking forward to shooting their wedding in November in picturesque Berry.

Michael & Jayne’s Sydney Harbour Wedding

When Michael & Jayne mentioned a boat in Sydney Harbour while telling me the details of their wedding I initially thought of a small yacht. Well there was nothing small about their wedding day boat, in fact it was the coolest and biggest boat I have ever been on. At one point I had to remind myself that I was shooting a wedding and not just out for a weekend cruise.

Michael & Jayne’s wedding was all style. From the boat (don’t worry I won’t go on any more about the boat) to the locations around Jones Bay Wharf & Sydney Harbour to their intimate reception at Cafe Morso.

Award Winning Wedding Photography

I can’t really say I thought I would do well at the recent NSW AIPP print awards but in the back of my mind I was kinda hoping I would get something. After all I did spend quite a few hours, over many late nights working on the photos and getting the prints actually completed. So a Silver for my wedding print of Kevin & Sarah in the pooring rain last year I feel was well worth the effort & initially getting wet for. Thank you to Kevin & Sarah. You guys were both very brave on your wedding day.

I think I’m going to find it hard to cull the photos for next years awards given all the stunning locations my couples are choosing of late.

Tim & Avril Wollongong Wedding

five.two.twentytwelve.

Tim & Avril chose a beautiful spot for their beach/garden ceremony in Wollongong and the perfect weather made it, well, perfect.

It’s been a busy year for these guys - this was the 4th wedding in their families in the last 12 months, including one that I had the privilege of shooting for Kevin + Sarah. It was great to see a couple of familiar faces and a whole lot of new ones.

Hello. Over the next couple of weeks your gonna see a whole lot of changes, Ive upgraded my site and that has opened up a whole new can of worms… not sure if my wife will be happy about this though as I can see myself being glued to this computer.

One of the major changes is that I am going to treat this site as my blog / website. Wasn’t really happy with the quality my photos were being displayed with the old one. I also like the ability for commenting and interaction with this site and encourage anyone wanting to do just that.

I apologise for any disruption or confusion with the site in the meantime while I fine tune it.
